Dr Daniar Osmonov was born on 21st of January 1975. He is associate professor and head of the andrology unit at University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein, Campus Kiel, Germany. Since January 2019 he is also senior chief register of the department. Dr Osmonov was involved in several chronical experimental animal studies at the University Hospital Mannheim and Kiel from 2000 to 2002 and completed his residency in urology at University Hospital Kiel from 2002 to 2006. Dr Osmonov received his medical license as an andrologist in 2013. Moreover, he is responsible for laparoscopic and robot-assisted surgery. Over the years, Dr Osmonov has been responsible for prostate cancer clinical research with a major focus on the surgical treatment of recurrent prostate cancer. He is an author and co-author of over 90 scientific publications and an expert in the field of surgical andrology, penile reconstructive urology, artificial sphincter, penile prosthesis, robotic assisted surgery and laparoscopy.
